Surf Art By Garry Birdsall Here's your chance to own an original work of surf art by world renowned surfer and artist Garry Birdsall. In his youth Garry was one of the pioneers of Malibu surfing in Sydney. He participated in numerous Australian and international surfing events. Always breaking new ground in and out of the water, Garry was the co-editor and illustrator of Australia's first surf mag, "Surfabout". He was also the first artist to air-brush surf art onto surfboards. In the US Garry worked with Gordon and Smith in San Diego and Hawaii, and with Ocean Pacific's founder Jim Jenks. And, of course, he surfed with many of America's legendary old school surfers. Garry's surfer paintings depict the 1960s golden era of surfing in Australia and the US. His surf art and surf prints recall the boards, clothing, cars and icons of that era in minute accurate detail. Each artwork is signed by Garry. They make ideal gifts for surfing enthusiasts, young and old. All artwork is © Garry Birdsall.Read Garry's bio Check out our portfolio of Garry's fine surf art paintings:
